professionalism and narcissism

what the hell is professionalism anyway?

i have always been skeptical of blogs because:

1) they're mostly vain and uninteresting to read
2) blogs allow anyone and everyone to smear shit all over the internet for people to see

now, i can't guarantee that the stuff that comes from me will be gold, but it probably won't be diarrhea most of the time.  diarrhea, meaning really unpleasant, uninteresting, and useless shit that is difficult to get rid of, not spewing stuff out at random.  because the random spewing.. is my personal specialty.

and then i thought about the act of posting words on the internet.  words - internet - permanent.
copyright laws? employees?

i'm not sure about all this.. democratization of the written word.
blogger = loser.

i just graduated from college last week.  i figured that i might finally take the time to do things that i really want to do.  why not write about them?  why not.  if no one sees it, fine.  if someone sees it, whatever.

so..
thoughts, pictures, events, whatever.  the usual.
